A reflective blog this time – as we take a look back at a great show in Royston Library, Hertfordshire. We performed Big Goldilocks and the Three Bears Plus… and had lots of fun with willing animal helpers, singing along to our wacky version of The Animals Went In Two By Two and helping Ted find all the surprises in disguises! Being a storyteller with books always means lots of fun in library settings as there are lots of people who love to see such a Big Book at 6ft tall!
The narrator, Ted arrives and finds the story is covered in disguises. He realises that he can disguise himself as Big Goldilocks to tell us the story through a big 6ft book, with lots of pop ups and bright colourful pages. The Big G wanders into the forest, getting hungry, grumpy and tired – she even scares away lots of forest animals on an Animal Rescue Centre! They run away singing The Animals Went In Two By Two, but with no one to give the Big G directions, she ends up lost in the forest and wanders into a surprisingly easily located cottage. But this is no ordinary cottage, in fact, it turns out to be the home of the 7 Bears, and yes you read that right 7 bears in this version!

We specialise in shows which encourage children to take a greater interest in books and reading, by encouraging them to participate lots in all of our shows.
