Booster Cushion Theatre for Children are currently touring our children’s show Little Red Riding Hood and Friends in Essex. Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, frogs on logs had a great time visiting a local childminder group in Essex. Everyone got to take part auditioning as wolves and dancing to the conga. Our setup shows how Booster can fit into almost any spot you have in mind!
Little Red Riding Hood and Friends is a comical mixture of several fairytales and is ideal as a treat for primary aged children. Red Riding Hood’s friend arrives and tries to tell us the story but keeps getting it wrong. He manages to introduce us to Little Red Riding Hood, her mum, dad and grandma – but gets confused when she leaves for the forest. So he calls up Cinderella, who arrives dancing a conga with her backup band shaking Jack’s Baked Beans Tins and she suggests that we audition to find the Wolf that ends the story.
This show is extremely flexible and can fit into almost any space you have in mind, it can play big or small and inside or out. We have played in living rooms for childminders (pictured above) to small converted church attics for nurseries.
