Our Hansel and Gretal show visited Leigh Park Community Centre and had a great time training the audience in sports and hiding in the trees. We always have a great time in East Dorset and heard loads about the arts week going on. Booster has been visiting Sting In The Tale for years now, performing inside and out! Make sure to visit them this year and see lots of storytellers including Booster!
‘Hansel, Gretal and You…Who? is a comical retelling of the fairytale, ideal for primary aged children and their families. This has Hansel and Gretal going on a journey around the world, learning how to say hello in other languages and following breadcrumbs to the forest animals, who just want to teach them all about the sports that they know! While taking part in a relay race they accidentally land into the Witches Kitchen and need the audience and the Gingerbread Man to save them!
This is a fast and flexible show which can play to a variety of age ranges. Our shows are part improvised so they can fit a variety of ages depending on who drops into the session on the day. Booster aims to take theatre everywhere to everyone, so our shows are as flexible as possible, being able to fit into a variety of spaces, big or small.
