Children’s theatre in primary schools is a great way to give children that first introduction to theatre that is fun and accessible. At Booster Cushion Theatre, our shows are developed with this in mind and feature lots of comical slapstick and wordplay as well as lots of chances to join in. We have been performing to primary schools for over 25 years, to thousands of primary school children, and have been many children’s first experience of live theatre! With shows featuring Big Books that come to life, it’s a great way to encourage children to take a greater interest in stories.

Alan In Wonderland and the Three Goats Plus… is a comical mixture of the Three Goats story with a reworking of the traditional Alice In Wonderland tale. Alan, Alice’s brother, goes to Wonderland to rescue her after she went to the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and turned into a troll. She keeps eating EVERYTHING that gets in her way. Luckily, Alan knows that the Three Goats are the best at troll situations, but they’re stuck on a bridge! With the audience’s help, we might just be able to save everyone…
Booster Cushion Theatre aims to make our shows as flexible as possible, which have been performed in spaces big or small, inside or out. We create a theatrical experience with all of our shows, transforming the space bringing our backdrops, Big Books, silly props, colourful bright lights and of course one wacky performer!
