Booster Cushion Theatre have been specialising in outdoor theatre shows in the UK for over 25+ years, and we want to work with you. Our outdoor theatre shows are ready to go right now for outdoor spaces and are ideal for community engagement for children and their families.
Our shows are incredibly portable and flexible, fitting a variety of conditions and spaces. We have produced over 200 shows for The Royal Parks and performed in all sorts of locations, such as in the Elephant House at London Zoo and under railway arches on the Isle of Dogs.
Our outdoor theatre shows are fun, accessible and packed full of laugh out loud moments. The show comes with waterproof backdrops, a story painted car (see below!), Big Books over 6ft tall and have been designed with the utmost safety precautions for the audience.
We are happy to be flexible on days, times as the pandemic and the UK’s weather system can change things ever so quickly, that we are offering no charges for a change of date for those in the surrounding counties of Hertfordshire.
Our shows have been designed with social distancing in mind and can play up to 100 people in an outdoor space. There is lots of chances for everyone to join in telling the story so they feel involved and our books are so big you can’t miss them. Our actor is incredibly loud – so don’t worry, you’ll hear him too!
These are just a few of the considerations an outdoor performance needs. We are ready to go today for your performances – our usual fee is £450+vat but we are happy to be flexible on budgets and restraints.
