Booster Cushion Theatre recently visited Winchester Discovery Centre with our ‘Alan In Wonderland and the Three Goats Plus…’ show. It was to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the book’s publication and we had a great time with lots of the audience ready to join in with our mad hatted tea party, help the three goats and eventually save Alice from turning into a troll!
This story turns the tale of Alice In Wonderland on it’s head mixing in the tale of the Three Billy Goats Gruff. This story is told through a massive book which turns into a tea party and even a bridge. Alice’s brother, Alan has to venture into Wonderland after he finds out his sister has turned into a troll at the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and just keeps eating EVERYTHING. So with the help of the audience, we put on our mad hats, learn how to properly drink a cup of tea, and eventually decide to venture over the Trolls Bridge. Luckily, we have the 3 goats (experts in trolls) to help us get over the bridge and try to save Alice….
