We recently visited Hemel Hempstead Library with our comical retelling of the Dickens Tale – ‘A Christmas Carol’. We had lots of fun with the audience, helping Cratchit to count humbugs, dancing the night away as Belle and even singing a Christmas Carol or two. This tale is ideal as a childrens christmas theatre show for children and adults alike to enjoy.
Booster Cushion Theatre have been touring for over 25 years with our engaging Big Book shows. A childrens Christmas theatre show is a great way to end the term for schools, as an alternative to pantomimes in venues or as a special treat for the end of year in libraries. All 8 of Booster’s shows are comical, engaging and have lots of participation from the audience – making for a fun experience for all.
A Christmas Carol is the ideal show for Christmas, a comical retelling of the story with lots of help from the audience. Told through an old London town narrator armed with a Big Book , suitcases packed full of ghosts and a very goofy Marley and grumpy Scrooge – children will love to listen and participate along as they are transformed into the Dickensian world. Ideal for primary aged children as well as adults!
