Thank you to the Cramphorn Theatre in Chelmsford for making Alan in Wonderland so welcome in January. Every one at the party was Mad, as Hatters of course. The whole audience got to have fun helping Alan drink his tea, wearing crazy hats to the tea party and stopping Alice from becoming a troll! Alan, Alice’s brother has to fall down the rabbit hole (or in this case cloud suitcases hole) to save his sister from the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. He has heard that she has eaten too many cakes and has turned into a troll and just wants to eat EVERYTHING. So with the help of the audience, he learns how to drink the tea to fit in at the tea party, dress up in a Mad Hat and find the Three Goats that know how to handle trolls! Alan helps them to cross a Book Bridge, but it’s up to Alan, the Goats and the audience to save Alice…
This theatre show features a Big Book which turns from a traditional book, into a tea party and then into a bridge which the goats can cross. Our Big Book comes with lots of flying fish, bright cloud suitcases and a backdrop straight from the Queen of Heart’s rose garden! Ideal for a surreal family show with lots of twists and suprises.
