Booster Cushion Theatre are currently touring our version of Little Red Riding Hood for primary schools. It was great to be back at the Royal Russell school with Little Red Riding Hood and Friends. We always have a fun time there, especially dancing the flamenco. Below are some pictures of the show!
Little Red Riding Hood and Friends is a comical mixture of several fairytales and is ideal for the topic of retelling traditional tales or creative writing. Red Riding Hood’s friend arrives and tries to tell us the story but keeps getting it wrong. He manages to introduce us to Little Red Riding Hood, her mum, dad and grandma – but gets confused when she leaves for the forest. So he calls up Cinderella, who arrives dancing a conga with her backup band shaking Jack’s Baked Beans Tins and she suggests that we audition to find the Wolf that ends the story.
There’s lots of participation from the audience and some children even get picked to be Cinderella’s back up band, audition to be wolves and help to save Red Riding Hood and her granny!
